
Head of the "Azexport" participates in the training "E-commerce for development" in Beijing
Aykhan Gadashov, the head of "Azexport" portal operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), participated in the training "e-Commerce for Development" held in Beijing, the capital of the People's Republic of China. At the opening ceremony of the training organized by the International Trade Center (ITC) and the Academy for International Business Officials (AIBO), A. Gadashov spoke and informed about the reforms carried out in the direction of digitalization of public services in Azerbaijan. Then he spoke about the achievements of the "azexport.az" portal in the direction of representation of local entrepreneurs on international platforms and diversification of export geography, as well as the work done by the portal in the virtual reality format on the "MTradeVerse" platform. In addition, he also informed about the services provided for non-residents by Digital Trade Hub, another innovative project of CAERC. A. Gadashov also brought to the attention of the participants that the "azexport.az" portal was presented as an exemplary platform by the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP).
It should be noted that the officials of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, as well as AIBO and ITC participated in the opening ceremony of the training. In the training, which will last seven days in the form of more than 10 sessions, presentations are made by local and foreign experts in the field on the topics of legislation, cyber security, information collection and exchange, paperless trade, infrastructure and logistics, as well as digital knowledge and skills.
