Representatives of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication visited the Federal Republic of Germany. Tarana Salifova, Adviser to the Executive director of the Center, and Gunay Guliyeva, Head of the economic analysis department, visited the German Federal Statistical Office (Statistisches Bundesamt). The purpose of the visit was to study international experience and modern methodologies in conducting official statistics. During the meetings, extensive presentations on the quality of official statistical data and research strategies were delivered. Discussions also covered data sources for private entrepreneurs, the availability and comparison of these data.

Additionally, they explored the activities of a research center that provides access to small-volume data for scientific research. This included topics such as the collection, processing, and provision of microdata for researchers. Participants observed the process of testing survey instruments and exchanged ideas on improving the quality of official statistics. Modern issues such as the application of new digital data in official statistics, as well as the collection and analysis of statistical data for small and medium-sized enterprises, were also discussed.

The delegation from CAERC participated in a meeting held as part of the "DT4SME" (Digital Transformation for Small and Medium Enterprises) project at Mannheim University. Presentations covered the impact of digital transformation on the development of small and medium-sized enterprises and innovation strategies. During the meeting organized by Mannheim University and the "Institut für Mittelstandsforschung," CAERC representatives also gave presentations, sharing the local experience of integrating digital transformation into small and medium-sized enterprises in our country.

In addition, participants toured work environments based on advanced technologies such as the "Experience Lab" and "MAFINEX" and exchanged experiences on applying scientific research to business models. The event also featured discussions on policy plans for small and medium-sized enterprises and new strategies for implementing digital innovations.
