The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) has been awarded the highest honor in the "Technology" category at the "World Economic Magazine Awards 2025" international competition organized by the U.S.-based "World Economic Magazine Inc." The prestigious award is titled "Excellence Award for Smart Monitoring and Evaluation – Azerbaijan 2025."

According to Rashad Najafli, Chief Advisor of the Economic Analysis Department at CAERC, the award was given based on the Center's creation of a digital platform for monitoring and evaluating the implementation of the "First State Program for the Great Return to the Liberated Territories" as instructed by the Cabinet of Ministers. The efficient use of project management, data analytics, geographic information systems, video surveillance, and artificial intelligence technologies was key to receiving the award.

Rashad Najafli mentions that this recognition confirms the Center's exemplary model in digital state governance and smart evaluation practices, including real-time data monitoring, risk analysis, the application of value-based management models (CPI, SPI), AI-powered chatbot solutions for public relations, and transparent, multi-agent performance monitoring in line with OECD/DAC evaluation criteria.

It is noteworthy that alongside CAERC, large national and regional companies also participated in the "Technology" category of the "World Economic Magazine Awards 2025." This award showcases the Center’s global competitiveness and leadership potential in the technology sector.

This prestigious international award for Azerbaijan's government technologies (GovTech) is considered another high international recognition of President Ilham Aliyev's successful policies in economic reforms, including program management and results-based budgeting. The economic reform management model formed under the President’s initiative and leadership serves as an example to the world.
