The November edition of the “Export Review” has been published

The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) has released the November edition of its “Export Review.”
According to the Review, in January–October 2025, Azerbaijan’s non-oil exports increased by 6.6 percent compared to the same period in 2024, reaching USD 2.99 billion. During the same period, exports of food products grew by 19.8 percent, amounting to USD 962.1 million.

In January–October 2025, exports of sugar rose by 49.6 percent, fruit and vegetables by 30 percent, chemical industry products by 22.8 percent, cotton yarn by 8.8 percent, and aluminum and aluminum products by 3.8 percent compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.

Over the first ten months of the current year, exports of agricultural products increased by 27.5 percent, totaling USD 769.7 million, while exports of agro-industrial products amounted to USD 260 million. Overall, combined exports of agricultural and agro-industrial products increased by 19.1 percent, reaching USD 1.03 billion.

During the reporting period, gold (USD 276.8 million) ranked first among non-oil export products. Tomatoes (USD 159.8 million) took second place, while urea (USD 153 million) ranked third.

In October 2025 alone, gold led the list of exported non-oil products with USD 38.9 million. Persimmons ranked second with USD 32.7 million, followed by hazelnuts in third place with USD 23.9 million.

In January–October 2025, the value of non-oil exports to major destination countries was as follows:
• Russian Federation – USD 968.9 million
• Türkiye – USD 486.3 million
• Switzerland – USD 288.3 million
• Georgia – USD 273.6 million
• Ukraine – USD 171.4 million

In October 2025, non-oil exports amounted to USD 90 million to the Russian Federation, USD 50.6 million to Türkiye, USD 40.6 million to Switzerland, USD 28.8 million to Georgia, and USD 24.1 million to Ukraine.

The top ten non-state exporters for January–October 2025 included the following enterprises:

Among state-owned companies engaged in non-oil export operations, the list is led by the Marketing and Economic Operations Department of SOCAR. Other exporters include:

Between January and October 2025, the Space Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Azercosmos) exported satellite telecommunication services worth USD 14.9 million to 41 countries. Revenue from service exports accounted for 66 percent of the agency’s total income. In October 2025 alone, Azercosmos exported services worth USD 1.7 million to 35 countries.
