Another local brand will be represented in the Caribbean region with the support of the “Azexport” portal

With the support of the “Azexport” portal, operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), another export operation to the Caribbean countries has been successfully carried out.

In particular, locally produced pomegranate juice, manufactured and exported by “Hub Trade” in 200- and 1000-milliliter packaging, for which a Free Sale Certificate had been issued, passed customs control and was dispatched by sea from Georgia’s Port of Poti for shipment to the Dominican Republic.

Ayxan Gadashov, Head of the “Azexport” portal, stated that the Caribbean countries represent a relatively new, yet promising market with high purchasing power for Azerbaijani products. According to him, the entry of locally produced pomegranate juices into this market demonstrates the growing global competitiveness of Azerbaijani brands. Establishing supply routes to the Americas via the Port of Poti contributes to diversifying the geographical scope of the country’s non-oil exports. Ayxan Gadashov noted that the access of national products to distant and complex markets also demonstrates their compliance with international quality standards.

It should be noted that the “Azexport” portal, which stimulates local producers’ access to foreign markets and provides them with comprehensive support, does not charge any registration or sales commission fees. The portal continues its activities aimed at promoting Azerbaijani products in both traditional and new markets.
