December issue of "Export Review" was published
According to the December issue of "Export Review",total exports of Azerbaijan in January-November 2022 amounted to 36.3 billion US dollars, exports in the non-oil sector amounted to 2.7 billion US dollars. Exports in the non-oil sector increased by 14% compared to the eleventh month of 2021.
During January-November 2022, the export of chemical industry products increased by 77.4%, the export of aluminum and its products by 23%, the export of ferrous metals and their products by 22.3%, and the export of tea by 43%.
The statistical value of the joint export of agricultural and agro-industrial products was 802.4 million US dollars. Fruit and vegetable products exported during January-November 2022 accounted for 93.2% of the group of agricultural products. The value created by agro-industrial products, which occupy a significant place in the composition of non-oil and gas exports, increased by 33.5% compared to the corresponding period of last year.
Urea (198.6 million US dollars) was the first in the list of non-oil sector goods exported during January-November 2022. In this list, cotton seed (US$161.1 million) was ranked second, and gold (US$156.1 million) was ranked third.
During the period of January-November 2022, 820 million US dollars to the Russian Federation, 630.5 million US dollars to Turkey, 183 million US dollars to Georgia, 166.5 million US dollars to the Swiss Confederation, and 89.4 million US dollars to Kazakhstan goods belonging to the oil sector were exported.
In November 2022, the Russian Federation (132.9 million US $) rose to the first place in the list of countries that exported the most goods from the non-oil sector. In this list, Turkey (48 million US $) was second and Georgia ($18.5 million US $) was third.
In November 2022, the list of goods belonging to the non-oil sector exported was unprocessed unalloyed aluminum ($19.8 million), followed by urea ($16.9 million) and tomatoes ($13.7 million). dollar) was the third.
"Export Review" compiled a rating of both non-state and state-owned exporting subjects in the non-oil sector in January-November 2022.
The following companies are represented in the top ten in the rating of non-state exporting entities prepared for January-November 2022: "MKT Ishtishlat Kommersiya" LLC, Representative Office of "Azerbaijan International Mining Company Limited Company" in the Republic of Azerbaijan, "Rose Servis" LLC, " Almeyva" LLC, Shirinov Elvin Valeh oglu, "Baku Steel Company" LLC, "Mors Trading" LLC, "P-Agro" LLC, "Azerbaijan Sugar Production Union" LLC, "STP Aluminum" LLC.
The list of state-owned companies participating in export operations in the non-oil sector is headed by the "Marketing and Economic Operations Department" of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Then the following companies are represented in this list: "Socar Polymer" LLC, "Azeraluminium" LLC, "AzerGold" JSC, "Azerenergy" ATSC, "Azerpambig Agrarian Industrial Complex" LLC, "Azerbaijan Airlines" JSC, "Azeripak" LLC, "Azertutun" OJSC, "Geophysics and Geology Department".
In January-November 2022, "Azerkosmos" exported services worth 24 million US dollars (satellite telecommunication services and optical satellite services) to 41 countries of the world. Azerkosmos' income from service export made up 82 percent of its total income. In November 2022, "Azerkosmos" exported services worth 2.3 million US dollars to 34 countries of the world.
The top five exports of satellite telecommunication and optical satellite services during January-November 2022 are the United Kingdom with 6 million US dollars, France with 5.3 million US dollars, Luxembourg with 4 million US dollars, 2.1 million US dollars UAE and Pakistan with 1.3 million USD.
In November 2022, the volume of transactions carried out by foreign citizens using bank cards in our country amounted to 158.1 million manats. In January-November 2022, foreigners made 2 billion manat transactions using bank cards.
In January-November 2022, the Azexport.az portal received export orders worth 424.5 million US dollars. In November 2022, the value of export orders entered on the Azexport.az portal amounted to 30.9 million US dollars. Export orders placed on the Azexport.az portal in November 2022 include tobacco, wine, butter, corn oil, sugar, hazelnut kernels, black tea, cosmetics, paint, etc. products prevailed. For information, let's note that from January 2017 to November 30, 2022 (within 71 months), the value of export orders received on the Azexport.az portal from 145 countries of the world amounted to 3.1 billion US dollars.
It was also stated in the "Export Review" that in December 2022, the value of non-oil exports carried out through the "One Stop Shop" Export Support Center was 40 million US dollars.
