
Vusal Gasimli was on trip to Japan
Vusal Gasimli the Executive Director of Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication was on trip to Tokyo the capital of Japan as invited by Asian Development Bank.
Vusal Gasimli took part in the conference on “Inclusive Development in Central Asia and Western Asia” held in Tokyo. Vusal Gasimli headed the session on “Development in Central and Western Asia and Impact of Foreign Shocks” jointly with Professor Naoyuki Yoshino the Director of Institute of Asian Development Bank. Economic development aspects in Central and Western Asia were discussed in the Conference including an exchange of opinions on the economic policy action taken in this region with respect to elimination of poverty and inequality.
In the conference, there were also touched upon issues such as role of small and medium businesses in economic development, development of infrastructure, creation of new jobs and overseas transfers.
Vusal Gasimli informed the conference participants about economic reforms conducted in Azerbaijan and macroeconomic prospects.
