At the meeting of the Organization of Turkic States, a proposal was made regarding the preparation of an interactive geo-economic map of the Turkic world
Acting head of the Turkish World Research Center (TWRC) under the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication Ayhan Satıcı participated in the 14th meeting of the Working Group on Economic Cooperation held in Istanbul, Turkey, organized by the Secretariat of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).
A.Satıcı brought to the attention of the members of the working group the proposal of the CAERC regarding the preparation of the interactive geo-economic map of the Turkic world and presented the video of the project to the Secretariat of the OTS. The proposal was positively received by the Working group and the Secretariat, and it was recommended to implement the project by next year.
At the meeting of the Working Group on Economic Cooperation, he informed about TWRC's activities and implemented projects, as well as "Turkish Economic Review" published quarterly in 8 languages from the beginning of 2022.
The meeting of the working group also discussed the finalization of the Action Plan of the Trade Facilitation Committee of OTS for 2023-2024, the adoption of the "Partnership Agreement on Digital Economy" project between OTS member countries, the implementation of the "Turkish Trading Houses" project, the establishment of the Turan Special Economic Zone - Approval of the conceptual document on the creation of TURANSEZ and other issues related to future joint activities were discussed.
At the meeting, the preliminary presentation of the book "Economy of Turkish States" prepared jointly by CAERC and OTS was held.
