A meeting on "Digital CAREC: Regional Digital Difference" has been held
The Head of the Projects Department of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication participated in a roundtable on "Digital CAREC: Regional Digital Difference" organized by the Central Asian Regional Economic Cooperation Institute (CAREC), the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) and the Asian Development Bank İnsitute (ADBI).
During the meeting, representatives from CAREC member countries discussed the digital gaps, investment opportunities and measures to be taken in this area. It was noted at the event that increasing the availability of digital services is one of the main priorities in developing countries today.
At the end of the round table, international experts came together and presented the research conducted jointly by the CAREC Institute and the Islamic Development Bank. The general results of the study on the analysis of the digital gap in the CAREC region brought to the attention of participants the analysis of digital foreign direct investment, digital security, digital inequality, accessibility, digital payments and Internet costs.
