Ganira Pashayeva Held Meeting with the Volunteers
Upon the initiative of the Reform Volunteers organization of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), there was organized a meeting of Chairman of Cultural Committee of the National Assembly (Milli Majlis) Ganira Pashayeva with the volunteers. The meeting was dedicated to the “Role of Youth in the Promotion of Azerbaijani Culture”. During the online meeting, Ganira Pashayeva first briefed the volunteers on the reforms implemented in the cultural sphere of our country under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev and international decisions. She spoke about the big role of youth in the promotion of our country’s culture. She also said that Azerbaijan already has its cultural values and criteria recognized all over the world. That is why young people must first know their history in order to preserve and develop our cultural heritage through their innovative activities.
G.Pashayeva also spoke about declaring 2021 a Year of Nizami Ganjavi in Azerbaijan. She noted that the brilliant heritage of the great Nizami, which has become an integral part of the spirit of our people, has retained its worthy place in the unparalleled cultural treasures of the East for centuries. Azerbaijani youth should also keep Nizami's ideas alive and contribute to the development of our country in economic, social, educational and other spheres.
More than 100 volunteers representing Reform Volunteers, ASAN volunteers, Agrarian Development Volunteers, Customs Volunteers, BIR Volunteers and other volunteer organizations shared their opinions on the topic and asked questions.
