The August issue of "Exports Review" has been presented

According to the august issue of the "Export Review" presented by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication in January-July 2022, Azerbaijan's exports amounted to 22,6 billion USD, 1,7 billion USD in the non-oil sector. Exports in the non-oil sector increased by 24.2% compared to the first seven months of 2021.

During January-July 2022, fruit and vegetable products increased by 11.5% compared to the same period of last year and amounted to 376.9 million USD. During the relevant period, the export of chemical industry products increased by 3.6 times, aluminum and aluminum products by 99%, ferrous metals and their products by 28.1%, cotton fiber by 5.4%, and tea by 57.2%.

In the list of non-oil sector goods exported during January-July 2022, cotton wool (140.3 million USD) was the first. In this list, tomato (134.1 million USD) is in the second place, and carbamide (121.9 million USD) is in the third place.

In January-July 2022, 462.2 million USD worth of non-oil sector goods were exported to the Russian Federation, 462.2 million USD to Turkey, 107.6 million USD to Georgia, 101 million US D to the Swiss Confederation and 59.4 million USD to the United States.

Exports for July 2022 amounted to 4.1 billion US dollars. Exports in the non-oil sector increased by 17,2% to reach 229.6 million USD. During July 2022, exports of food products increased by 43.7% to 61.7 million US dollars, and exports of non-food products increased by 9.5% to 162.9 million US dollars.

In July 2022, the Russian Federation (80.2 million USD) topped the list of countries where the largest part of non-oil goods are exported. Turkey (33.8 million USD) was second and Georgia (19.4 million USD) took the third place in this list.

In July 2022, carbamide (23.1 million USD) was the first, preform polypropylene (16 million USD) was the second, and peach fruit (14.8 million USD) was the third in the list of exported non-oil sector goods in July 2022.

"Export Review" has compiled a ranking of both non-governmental and govermental exporters in the non-oil sector in January-July 2022.

The top ten companies in the ranking of non-governmental exporters in January-July 2022 are the following: “MKT Industrial Commerce LLC”, Representation of “Azerbaijan International Mining Company Limited” in the Republic of Azerbaijan, “STP Aluminium” MMC, “P-Agro” MMC, “FoodCity Agropark” MMC,  “Rose Servis” MMC, "Almeyva" LLC, "Mors Trading" LLC, "ZR-78 Company" LLC, Shirinov Elvin Valeh oghlu.

The list of state-owned companies involved in export operations in the non-oil sector is headed by the SOCAR “Marketing and Economic Operations Department”. Next on this list are "Socar Polymer" LLC, "Azeraluminium" LLC, "AzerGold" CJSC, "Azerpambig Agricultural Industrial Complex" LLC, "Azerenergy" ATSC, "Azerbaijan Airlines" CJSC, "Azeripak" LLC, "Geophysics and Geology Department", Nakhchivan MR State Energy Service.

In January-July 2022, Azercosmos OJSC exported services (satellite telecommunication services and optical satellite services  worth 15.1 million USD) to 35 countries of the world. Azercosmos income from service exports made up 83 percent of its total income. In July 2022, "Azercosmos" exported services worth 2.1 million USD to 30 countries of the world.

In January-July 2022, the top five exports of satellite telecommunication and optical satellite services are the United Kingdom with 3.9 million USD, France with 3.2 million USD, Luxembourg with 2.6 million USD, 1.4 UAE with 1 million USD and Pakistan with 0.8 million USD.

In July 2022, the total cost of operations made by foreign citizens through bank cards in our country amounted to 213,6 million AZN. In January-July 2022, foreigners made transactions worth 1.3 billion AZN using bank cards.

The total amount of export orders submitted to the Azexport.az portal in January-July 2022 amounted to 288,4 million USD. In July 2022, the total amount of export orders submitted to the Azexport.az portal amounted to 40 million US dollars. In July 2022, the list of most ordered goods from Azexport.az portal were wine, fruit juice, tomato, mineral water, tobacco, hazelnut kernel, hazelnut shell, licorice root, chicken meat, peach, engine oil, medical leech and etc. It should be noted that from January 2017 to July 31, 2022 (during 67 months) the value of export orders received by the Azexport.az portal from 145 countries amounted to 2,98 billion US dollars.

At the same time, according to the Export Review, during March 2022, the total cost of the non-oil export implemented through the One-Stop-Shop Export Support Center was 20,9 million US dollars.
