Training held in the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications
Baku - Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications organized a workshop on “Regulatory Impact Analysis” (RIA) on September 21 – 22 in an effort to contribute to personnel training in impact analysis of the economic reforms conducted in our country.
The workshop was conducted by Charles HenriMontin an internationally renowned RIA expert who was the official representative of France in the capacity of the vice-chairman of the Regulatory Policy Committee of OECD. JTI (JapanTobacco International) a member of “JapanTobacco” group of companies and a leading international tobacco company of the world provided expert support to the conduct of the workshop.
The workshop dedicated to topics such as Regulatory Policy and management issues, assessment of RIA schemes in the European Commission and other countries and in Azerbaijan and establishment of RIA system in Azerbaijan is designed for the high – ranking officials of the government and business entities responsible for regulation and management policy.
The workshop was attended by the representatives of the ministries, state committees, agencies and services, as well as universities and private sector. At the end, the attendants were awarded with the certificates granted by Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications and “JapanTobacco” group of companies.
