An employee of CAERC represents Azerbaijan at "2023 Berlin Energy Week"

 Vusala Jafarova, chief advisor of the Strategic Planning Department of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication , participated in the "2023 Berlin Energy Week". The conference is held with the participation of state ministers and high-level delegations from more than 60 countries. More than 2,000 participants and more than 200 journalists represented about 130 countries at the online conference.

International agreements, innovations and best practices for the global energy transition were the main topics of discussion. At the "Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue" (BETD) session, which is the main focus of the week, the Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Annalena Baerbock, made an opening speech. Many ministers from all regions of the world participated in the conference called "Energiewende - Ensuring a Green Future".

The conference brought together the world's most influential CEOs, policy makers and dozens of government officials to discuss solutions to their common and global challenges. More concrete global plans for investing in sustainable energy systems and on the road to climate neutrality were discussed.

Since its establishment in 2015, the Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue (BETD) has been considered one of the world's most important forums on the global energy transition. The Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue is organized by the German Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action. As an expert in the energy transition, the Deutsche Energie-Agentur (German Energy Agency) supports the German federal government in organizing the Berlin Energy Week.
