Within the framework of the project "Startup School 2 - AI for Green Solidarity" implemented jointly by the "Enterprise Azerbaijan" portal operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication in collaboration with the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence and the Ozmen Entrepreneurship Center of the University of Nevada, USA, a training session was organized. The training was conducted by Dr. Eldrid Yordan, a professor at the University of Johannesburg, Republic of South Africa.

The training session on "Building Ecosystems that Scale and Lessons from Startup Failures" involved detailed research on the evolution from Mxit (a communication application) to GovChat.

Eldrid Yordan shared his insights on the features of GovChat and its impact on user engagement, particularly in the South African context. He highlighted that "GovChat" enhances accessibility to the rating of government institutions and services, enabling citizens to effectively communicate with institutions. Eldrid Yordan emphasized the importance of utilizing technology to increase accountability and transparency in governance.

Drawing on practical examples, participants were introduced to strategies for building scalable ecosystems and overcoming challenges inherent in startup initiatives. Additionally, discussions revolved around ways to foster innovation, impact society, and glean lessons from both successes and failures in the dynamic landscape of entrepreneurship and technology.
