Employment issues related to the Great Return were discussed
A discussion on employment challenges was convened, focusing on the "First State Program on the Great Return to Azerbaijan's Liberated Territories," hosted by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).
The meeting featured key participants including Vusal Gasimli, the Executive Director of CAERC; Anar Aliyev, the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population; and Mustafa Abbasbeyli, the Chairman of the State Employment Agency. They deliberated on the sectors that necessitate an active workforce in the Karabakh and East Zangezur economic regions. These sectors are categorized into public and private domains. Moreover, the assembly addressed the construction plans set for 2024 in the aforementioned regions as part of the "First State Program on the Great Return." Discussions also encompassed vocational training for the resettled population and the initiation of pilot projects.
The decision was made to sustain the dialogue. Furthermore, a consensus was reached to undertake collaborative visits to the regions in question and to carry out pertinent research.
