Preliminary figures for the June 2026 issue of the "Export Review" have been announced
The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) has released the preliminary indicators for the June 2026 edition of its “Export Review.”
According to the review, Azerbaijan’s non-oil sector exports (excluding non-monetary gold) reached USD 1.5 billion during January–May 2026, representing a 16.6% increase compared to the corresponding period of 2025. In May 2026, Azerbaijan’s non-oil sector exports (excluding non-monetary gold) amounted to USD 396.7 million, marking a 27.2% increase compared to the same month of the previous year. Overall, during this period, food product exports increased by 23.8% to USD 144.6 million, while non-food product exports rose by 30.7% to USD 288.5 million.
During January–May 2026, exports of sugar increased 4.2 times compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. Exports of cotton yarn increased 2.4 times, while exports of vegetable and animal fats and oils grew by 57%. Exports of aluminium and aluminium products increased by 44.6%, cotton fiber by 25%, fruits and vegetables by 18.6%, tea by 16.8%, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages by 6%.
During January–May 2026, exports of agricultural products increased by 25.2% to USD 414.5 million, while exports of agro-industrial products rose by 39% to USD 160.5 million. Overall, combined exports of agricultural and agro-industrial products increased by 28.8% to USD 575.1 million.
