Vusal Gasimli met with representatives from Mathias Corvinus Collegium
A meeting on "Cross-Border Innovation: Strengthening Azerbaijan-Hungary Friendship" was held at the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) as part of the cooperation between the "Enterprise Azerbaijan" portal and Hungary's Mathias Corvinus Collegium.
While welcoming the Hungarian guests, Prof. Dr. Vusal Gasimli, Executive Director of CAERC emphasized the importance of Azerbaijan-Hungary relations, economic and trade ties, and Hungary's role as an observer state in the Organization of Turkic States. He provided an overview of CAERC's main activities and addressed questions from the delegation.
Clementina Kozma, a researcher at the School of International Relations of Mathias Corvinus Collegium, Monika Kuznetsova, coordinator of the International Economic Center, and eight students accompanying them expressed their interest in Azerbaijan's innovations in the fields of entrepreneurship and innovation.
Matanat Musayeva, head of the "Enterprise Azerbaijan" portal, mentioned that the Hungarian delegation will participate in several meetings during their visit, with discussions focusing on innovation policy, venture capital, and pathways for entrepreneurship development.
During the meeting, Gunay Guliyeva, head of the Economic Analysis Division, spoke about the extensive restoration and reconstruction efforts in Karabakh and East Zangezur, the current investment environment in these regions, the comprehensive state support for attracting investors, and key investment opportunities.
Gultaj Ahmadzade-Tapdigzade, leading consultant in the Monitoring and Evaluation Division, presented on the "Medium-term Expenditure Framework: Program Management Based on Project Management" (Azerbaijan's data-driven management framework).
The meeting aimed to strengthen Azerbaijan's innovation policy through international cooperation, involving foreign experts, academics, and entrepreneurs, as well as students engaged in startups.
