The head of the Turkic Culture Research Center visited CAERC
Vusala Jafarova, head of the Turkic World Research Center (TDAM), which operates under the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, met with Ecem Elif Ünal, head of the Turkic Culture Research Center of Istanbul Yeditepe University.
During the meeting, V. Jafarova provided information about the research conducted to ensure sustainable economic development in the member and observer countries of the Organization of Turkic States. She discussed the efforts to increase cooperation between economic research centers and academic circles. The head of TDAM noted that the "Turkic Economic Outlook," prepared by CAERC together with the Secretariat of the Organization of Turkic States, is published four times a year in eight languages. She emphasized the importance of accelerating economic integration in the Turkic world, raising awareness among OTS member and observer states about investment opportunities in the Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur economic regions, and promoting participation in reconstruction and reintegration projects in Azerbaijan's liberated territories.
Ecem Elif Ünal expressed the institution's interest in cooperating with scientific and cultural organizations operating in the Turkic world, implementing joint projects, and exchanging experiences. During the meeting, discussions were held on joint activities to be carried out by both institutions to further strengthen scientific and cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Turkiye.
At the end of the meeting, Vusala Jafarova presented the book "Turkic States Economy," prepared by the Center together with think tanks from the countries representing the Organization of Turkic States to the guest.
