121 projects from 9 countries of the world were submitted to the "Startup School 2" project
"Startup School 2 - AI for Green Solidarity," jointly implemented by the "Enterprise Azerbaijan" portal, operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), in collaboration with the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence and the Ozmen Entrepreneurship Center of the University of Nevada, USA, has released certain information regarding project applicants. During this period, 121 projects applied for participation in the competition. In addition to Azerbaijan, projects from different countries around the world - Canada, Finland, Germany, the Republic of South Africa, Poland, the Czech Republic, Kazakhstan, and Turkey - have joined to study at the startup school. 46.1% of those registered in the project were young people under 20 years old. Among the applicants are 3 people over 50 years old and 1 person under 15 years old. Those who want to join the project showed more interest in the fields of agriculture, "green city," and tourism.
Matanat Musayeva, the head of the "Enterprise Azerbaijan" portal, expressed her satisfaction with the activity observed from the first day of registration for the "Startup School 2 - AI for Green Solidarity" project. She said that, unlike last year, despite the fact that the topics of startups this year are only related to artificial intelligence, the number of applications proved once again that acquiring academic and practical knowledge in the startup ecosystem, especially in the field of artificial intelligence, is of greater interest to young people. According to her, it is gratifying that the applicants are from different countries, and at the same time, young people show great interest in the project.
