Vusal Gasimli, The Professor of The Academy Of Public Administration Under The President Of The Republic Of Azerbaijan delivered a lecture on "Digital technologies in the management of the economy" to the masters of faculty “Professional Development of Leading Personnel”.
V.Gasimli said that as oil resources are depleted, data and information become the main commodity in the world and in Azerbaijan. So, more data allows companies to build better applications and technologies, which in turn increases their profitability, allowing companies to obtain and use more information in this way. Therefore, Azerbaijan in accordance with worldwide trends , is developing a policy of privacy and data use legislation, regulation of content and digital commerce, protection of intellectual property rights, cybersecurity and newly adopted concept of digital transformation in the fields of cyberdiplomacy. Professor V.Gasimli noted that in the future, countries and companies that maintain confidentiality in the field of artificial intelligence will be more competitive.
