The official website of the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS EC) has published information about the meeting held by representatives of leading think tanks of Uzbekistan at the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication within the framework of their visit to Azerbaijan. In the article entitled "Experts of the leading analytical centers of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan have agreed on close cooperation", it was mentioned that in the meeting held with the executive director of CAERC, Vusal Gasimli, the issues of strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan in the fields of economic and trade, investment, transport and logistics were discussed. Also, they exchanged views on the changes occurring in the Central Asian region and mutual activity between the regions. "Vusal Gasimli highly appreciated Uzbekistan's new strategy aimed at improving the welfare of its citizens, developing human capital, transforming and liberalizing individual sectors of the economy, digitalization, and applying innovative technologies," the article said.
It should be noted that the visits to support Uzbekistan's think tanks were also held on August 7 at the CAERC, where issues of cooperation should be discussed.
