The November issue of "Export Review" was presented
According to the November issue of "Export Review", Azerbaijan's total exports in January-October 2022 amounted to 34.7 billion US dollars, exports in the non-oil sector amounted to 2.4 billion US dollars. Compared to the first ten months of 2021, exports in the non-oil sector increased by 16.2%.
During January-October of this year, the export of chemical industry products doubled, the export of aluminum and products made from it increased by 25.7%, the export of ferrous metals and products made from them increased by 24.5%, and the export of tea increased by 48.9%.
The statistical value of the joint export of agricultural and agro-industrial products was 672.1 million US dollars. Fruit and vegetable products exported during January-October 2022 accounted for 92.5% of the group of agricultural products. The added value created by agro-industrial products, which occupy a significant place in the composition of non-oil and gas exports, increased by 29% compared to the corresponding period of last year.
Urea (181.8 million US dollars) was the first in the list of non-oil sector goods exported during January-October 2022. In this list, cotton seed (US$151.9 million) was ranked second, and gold (US$143 million) was ranked third.
During January-October 2022, 687 million US dollars to the Russian Federation, 582.5 million US dollars to Turkey, 164.4 million US dollars to Georgia, 152.6 million US dollars to the Swiss Confederation, and 75 million US dollars to Kazakhstan. goods belonging to the oil sector were exported.
Exports in October 2022 amounted to 5.2 billion US dollars, and exports in the non-oil sector amounted to 269.1 million US dollars. During October 2022, exports of food products increased by 73 million US dollars, and exports of non-food products increased by 17.5% to 196.2 million US dollars.
In October 2022, the Russian Federation (84.8 million US dollars) rose to the first place in the list of countries that exported the most goods from the non-oil sector. In this list, Turkey (70.9 million US dollars) was second and Georgia (19.8 million US dollars) was third.
In the list of non-oil goods exported in October 2022, electricity ($28.5 million), urea ($18.3 million), and gold ($14.6 million) were the first.
"Export Review" compiled a ranking of both non-state and state-owned exporting subjects in the non-oil sector in January-October 2022.
The following companies are represented in the top ten in the ranking of non-state exporting subjects prepared for January-October 2022: "MKT Ishtishlat Kommersiya" LLC, "Azerbaijan International Mining Company Limited Company" Representative Office in the Republic of Azerbaijan, "Baku Steel Company" LLC, "Almeyva" LLC, Shirinov Elvin Valeh oghlu, "Rose Servis" LLC, "Mors Trading" LLC, "P-Agro" LLC, "STP Aluminum" LLC, "Azerbaijan Sugar Production Union" LLC.
The list of state-owned companies participating in export operations in the non-oil sector is headed by the "Marketing and Economic Operations Department" of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Then the following companies are represented in this list: "Socar Polymer" LLC, "Azeraluminium" LLC, "AzerGold" JSC, "Azerenergy" ATSC, "Azerpambig Agrarian Industrial Complex" LLC, "Azerbaijan Airlines" JSC, "Azeripek" LLC , "Department of Geophysics and Geology", State Energy Service of Nakhchivan MR.
In January-October 2022, "Azerkosmos" exported services worth 21.7 million US dollars (satellite telecommunication services and optical satellite services) to 40 countries of the world. Azerkosmos' income from service export made up 81 percent of its total income. In October 2022, "Azercosmos" exported services worth 2.4 million US dollars to 36 countries of the world.
The top five satellite telecommunications and optical satellite services exports in January-October 2022 are the United Kingdom with 5.5 million US dollars, France with 4.6 million US dollars, Luxembourg with 3.6 million US dollars, 1.9 UAE with USD 1.2 million and Pakistan with USD 1.2 million.
In October 2022, the volume of transactions carried out by foreign citizens using bank cards in our country amounted to 149 million manats. In January-October 2022, foreigners made 1.8 billion manat transactions using bank cards.
In January-October 2022, the Azexport.az portal received export orders worth 393.6 million US dollars. In October 2022, the value of export orders entered on the Azexport.az portal amounted to 37.3 million US dollars. Export orders made to the Azexport.az portal in October 2022 include cottonseed oil, butter, lead, building bricks, chicken meat, dates, nuts, tobacco, engine oil, wheat flour, etc. products prevailed. For information, let's note that from January 2017 to September 30, 2022 (within 70 months), the value of export orders received on the Azexport.az portal from 145 countries of the world amounted to 3.1 billion US dollars.
The "Export Review" indicated that the value of non-oil exports carried out through the "One Stop Shop" Export Support Center in November 2022 was 20.1 million US dollars.
