Non-oil exports increased by 39.4% to reach 461.8 million USD accourdong to the March issue of Exports Review
According to the March issue of the "Export Review", in 2022, Azerbaijan's exports reached 6 billion USD, 461.8 mln. USD for the non-oil sector. Exports in the non-oil sector compared to 2021 amounted to 130.6 million USD or increased by 39.4%.
Fruit and vegetable production in 2022 increased by 21.9 million USD compared to the same period last year and amounted to 92.3 million USD. During the same period, exports of chemical products increased by 9 times, aluminum and aluminum products by 57.4%, cotton fiber by 38.3%, cotton yarn by 35.2%, ferrous metals and their products by 16.5%.
During the period of normalization process, exports in February 2022 amounted to 2.9 billion USD. Exports in the non-oil sector increased by 24%, amounting to 229.6 million USD. During February 2022, exports of food products increased by 19.4% compared to the same month last year to reach 51.7 million USD, and non-food exports increased by 25.4% , amounting to 177.9 million USD.
