The preliminary figures of "Export Review" have been announced
The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication announced the preliminary figures of the February issue of "Export Review". According to the review data, during January 2024, Azerbaijan's total exports amounted to 1.8 billion US dollars, and exports in the non-oil sector amounted to 222 million US dollars.
During January 2024, the export of food products increased by 9.5% compared to the corresponding period of last year and amounted to 70.4 million US dollars, and the export of non-food products was equal to 151.6 million US dollars.
During the first month of 2024, the export of vegetable and animal fats and oils increased by 31.9%, the export of fruits and vegetables by 21.2%, and the export of aluminum and its products by 17.4%.
During January of the current year, the statistical value of the joint export of agricultural and agro-industrial products increased by 10.5% and amounted to 74.1 million US dollars. The value created by agro-industrial products, which occupy a significant place in the composition of non-oil/gas exports, was 15.4 million US dollars.
