Meeting with representatives of China in the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication

Vusal Gasimli the Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication received the delegation of China Institute of International Studies (CIIS). There were conducted discussions with Li Ziguo Deputy Director of CIIS, Deng Hao political specialist of this organization for Georgia and Kirgizstan and Bai Lianley Doctor of Economics, regarding the document “General Directions of the Strategic Road Map for national economy and main sectors of economy”. In addition, the discussions also focused on the reforms conducted in Azerbaijan, the existing situation of economy and the development trends. It was brought to the attention of the foreign visitors that East-West and North – South Corridors of Azerbaijan were becoming an important transport – logistics center. Cooperation between China and Azerbaijan is important in this respect. The importance of bilateral cooperation was emphasized at the end of discussions.
