CAERC has fully transferred its information systems to the "Government Cloud"

The implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev No. 718 dated June 3, 2019 on the creation of the Government Cloud (G-cloud) and the provision of “cloud” services continues.

The migration of information systems and resources of state institutions to the Baku and Yevlax Data Centers, owned by "AzInTelecom" LLC under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, is being carried out, either fully or partially.

The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, which had previously partially transferred its information systems to the "Government Cloud," has now completed the migration process entirely. As part of this migration, the center has availed itself of the Virtual Server - IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service) provided by "AzInTelecom" LLC. IITKM ensured the high availability of its critical systems by locating its information systems in the Baku Data Center.

Simultaneously, CAERC utilized the BaaS (Backup-as-a-Service) cloud service for safe data storage. "AzInTelecom" has provided CAERC specialists with the "Veeam" platform to manage the functionalities offered within this service in a more flexible and simplified manner.

It is worth noting that with the migration of government institutions to the "Government Cloud," current IT costs are reduced, and the productivity of information systems is increased. Consequently, further enhancements in the security of information systems, as well as the establishment of stable and reliable IT infrastructure, are achieved. Moreover, high-quality service provision is ensured through prompt coordination and 24/7 monitoring services.

"AzInTelecom" LLC holds the distinction of being the first institution in Azerbaijan and the South Caucasus region to obtain the "TIER III" International compliance certificate. Additionally, it operates two Data Centers located in Baku and Yevlakh, both of which meet the requirements of "ISO 20000," "ISO 22301," and "ISO 27001" certificates.
