The representative of CAERC participated in the training on DSGE model in Kazakhstan
Vusala Jafarova, senior adviser of the Strategic planning department of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), participated in the regional seminar on "Macroeconomic analysis with dynamic and stochastic equilibrium models" at the Regional Training Center for the Caucasus, Central Asia and Mongolia of the International Monetary Fund located in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
17 economists from six member countries of the region participated in the seminar. During the training, the participants worked on deriving the standard New Keynesian model, coding them in the IRIS program, and adding open economy features to the model.
