The Head of the "Enterprise Azerbaijan" portal conducted training in Nakhchivan
A training and mentoring program was organized at Nakhchivan State University (NSU) within the framework of the "Startup School 4: Five Continents – 500 Startups" program, implemented by the "Enterprise Azerbaijan" portal, operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC). During the two-day program under the "Startup School Nakhchivan" project, special trainings in innovation and entrepreneurship were held with the participation of the university's faculty and students.
On the first day of the program, Isa Gasimov, Head of the "Enterprise Azerbaijan" portal, conducted training for NSU students on the formation and development of startups. On the second day, he led sessions for the faculty on the "Commercialization of Science." The trainings provided detailed information on transforming innovative ideas into business projects, market-oriented approaches, and methods and techniques aligned with the requirements of the startup ecosystem. Specifically, during the sessions for the faculty, methodologies for forming academic entrepreneurship were developed, and practical work was conducted with participants based on real-world examples.
It was noted that training and mentoring services are planned to continue in an online format in the next stage. During this phase, support will be provided to further develop participants' startup ideas and expand their practical application possibilities.
It should be noted that the "Startup School Nakhchivan" project, implemented within the "Startup School 4: Five Continents – 500 Startups" program, aims to contribute to the development of the startup ecosystem in the region. The project also creates opportunities for integrating promising startups formed during the program into international initiatives.
