The next meeting of the Environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) standards subgroup of the "Corporate management, investments and corporate social responsibility" working group led by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Commission for Business Environment and International Ratings was held.
Representatives of state institutions, as well as a number of public associations, local and international consulting companies participated in the meeting organized in online format.
Vusal Shikhaliyev, Head of the Secretariat of the Commission for Business Environment and International Ratings, Sector Head of the Department of Economic Policy and Industrial Affairs of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Natig Hasanov, Head of the Subgroup on ESG Standards, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of SMBDA , within the framework of the subgroup, they shared their views on the directions of action.
At the meeting, presentations and discussions were made on the work done on the Road Map for 2024 for stimulating and promoting the application of ESG principles, global trends in ESG and development issues in the national context, opportunities for applying ESG principles and upcoming priorities.
