Workshop on industrialization in Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication
Baku - Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication hosted a workshop on “Development of industries, diversification and integration into global value chain” presented by Melissa Metz the leading specialist on the consultative program of reforms associated with the preparation of the Doing Business report of the World Bank and the IFC.
Global Value Chains and their role in establishment of international market trends were discussed in the event. Also there was conducted an exchange of views in terms of bringing the facilities in line with the types and needs of the enterprises in order to support the development of micro, small and medium enterprises.
The workshop was attended by the representatives of the ministries, non-governmental organizations, as well as small and medium entrepreneurs.
For information, World Bank and International Finance Corporation (IFC) "Doing Business" update Mission on business environment, attracting and protecting of investments will be on a visit to Baku between 5-9 September 2016 with a view to enhancing the country’s indicators in the international economic ranking
