The role of the Zangazur corridor in regional economic integration has been presented in Naples, Italy

Ayaz Museyibov, Head of the Department of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), attended an event of the research group of the Partnership for Peace consortium in Naples, Italy. Museyibov made a report on "The growing role of the Zangazur corridor in regional economic integration and peace".  He noted that the Zangazur corridor is the most pragmatic and optimal option for regional economic integration and peace in the current realities. At the same time, this corridor like the mega projects of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan, Baku-Tbilisi-Kars, Southern Gas Corridor, etc., contribute to the efficiency of the global trade and energy corridors and is a unique project that meets the interests of the regional countries.

At the meetings, economists from the region, including Poland, Greece, the United States, Turkey, Austria, Slovenia, and other countries, conducted scientific discussions on opportunities for economic cooperation and integration in the South Caucasus. During the discussions, views were expressed on the overall economic development opportunities of the region, as well as possible prospects for economic development and regional integration of the Zangazur corridor.

The conference, organized by prestigious European think tanks and institutes, plans to publish a research paper on the Zangazur corridor co-authored by Vusal Gasimli and Museyibov.
