Vusal Gasimli, the Executive director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, made a business visit to Estonia. Within the framework of the visit, he held meetings with the government and parliament of this country, as well as representatives of think tanks.

At the meetings held at the Ministry of Economy of Estonia and the Association of Information Technologies and Telecommunications, V. Gasimli presented the management model of economic reforms implemented under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev. He also gave detailed information about the Business Environment and International Ratings Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan and made a special presentation about the Commission's electronic platform "azranking.az".

At the meeting held at the Estonian Business and Innovation Agency (EBIA), the member of the management board of the institution, Sigrid Harjo, informed about the activities of the Agency, especially the "Enterprise Estonia", "Invest in Estonia", "Startup Estonia" and "e-Residency" projects. V. Gasimli, in his turn, spoke about Azerbaijan's potential in these directions, the work done in these fields at IITKM, and shared the successful experiences of our country. In the meeting with the head of "Startup Estonia" Eve Peeterson, the issues of deepening cooperation in the field of startups and implementation of joint projects were discussed.

Within the framework of the visit, V.Gasimli also met with the leaders of the well-known think tanks of this country. Tea Danilov, director of the Foresight Center operating under the Parliament of Estonia, and Urmo Kübar, chairman of the Board of Directors of the Praxis Social Research Center, gave information about the institutions they lead. V. Gasimli also said that IITKM is recognized as one of the leading think tanks in Azerbaijan, that it is one of the main drivers of the economic reform process in the country, and that it has institutional experience in monitoring and evaluating state programs and strategies.

V. Gasimli also visited the "e-Estonia" Briefing Center. Here, he got acquainted with the Estonian experience in the field of application of digital solutions and artificial intelligence in program management, and discussed issues of cooperation in this direction.
