Turkey and Azerbaijan will cooperate in the development of SMEs
Vusal Gasimli, Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, met with a delegation led by Salih Tuna Sahin, Deputy Chairman of the Board of KOSGEB, Turkey. Vusal Gasimli informed about the work done for the development of small and medium enterprises in the favorable business environment created in Azerbaijan. It was noted that the " Strategic roadmap for the production of consumer goods at the level of small and medium entrepreneurship in the Republic of Azerbaijan " was implemented by 88 percent during 2016-2021. Support for small and medium-sized businesses in the areas of finance and credit, insurance, taxation, customs and public procurement, as well as institutional reforms such as SMBDA, EnterpriseAzerbaijan.com, Azexport, SMB houses were discussed. The sides also exchanged views on joint projects between Turkey and Azerbaijan to support small and medium-sized businesses.
Salih Tuna Shahin also became acquainted with the conditions created for entrepreneurs at the "One Stop-Shop" Export Support Center operating under the CAERC.
