The expert team of the "Startup School 3" project has been announced
The expert team for the international acceleration program “Green and Digital Silk Road,” implemented within the “Startup School 3” project initiated by the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal, operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), has been announced.
The team includes internationally recognized professionals from various countries—renowned mentors and experts with experience in the innovation and startup ecosystem. They will provide participants with knowledge and support in areas such as idea development, business model creation, global market access strategies, green technologies, and digital transformation.
Mentors and trainers will work directly with startup teams to help develop their ideas, enhance their potential, and strengthen their practical knowledge. They will hold individual advisory and training sessions. This process will involve professors from the University of Nevada—Mehmet Serkan Tosun, Pavel Pietrasienski, and Matt Westfield; founder and CEO of Estonia’s “YellowX” Ozan Sönmez; Vice Rector of Ostim Technical University Professor Ünsal Sığrı; Head of the Technology Transfer Office of Boğaziçi University Volkan Özgüz; representative of China’s “Silk Road High Technology Park Association” Zhang Xiaogang; Director of Cappadocia Technopark Bilgin Yazlık; Gonca Kara from Malta’s Acceleration Center; as well as representatives from reputable institutions in Azerbaijan, Finland, Pakistan, and other countries.
The jury panel consists of representatives from international venture funds and will evaluate the startup presentations in the final stage of the program. The evaluation criteria will primarily focus on innovative approaches, commercialization potential, and applicability in global markets.
The main goal of the “Green and Digital Silk Road” program is to promote digital innovation across regional countries, support sustainable development, and create opportunities for startups to succeed on an international scale.
It should be noted that the international acceleration program has more than 30 partners from various countries. Five of these are venture funds from the USA, Turkey, Pakistan, Malta, and Azerbaijan.
Applications for the acceleration program will be accepted until August 1.
