A Video Conference Held with Volunteers on “The Azerbaijani Economy: During the Pandemic and Post-Pandemic Period”
The Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Doctor of Economic Sciences Vusal Gasimli, held a meeting with volunteers on the topic “The Azerbaijani Economy: During the Pandemic and Post-Pandemic Period.”
The meeting, organized by the Reform Volunteers organization of CAERC and held in a video conference format, addressed the impact of the pandemic on Azerbaijan’s economy as well as forecasts for the post-pandemic period. The discussions mainly covered GDP growth, the balance of payments, the macroeconomic situation, budget policy, monetary policy, and innovative development.
In addition to the volunteers of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, hundreds of young people participated in the meeting, including volunteers from ASAN, DOST, QIDA, migration services, agricultural services, and customs. Following Vusal Gasimli’s presentation, questions of interest from volunteers and members of the press were addressed, followed by an exchange of views.
