The “Support for Export 2019” project was presented to exporting entrepreneurs at the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC). The presentation was organized jointly by CAERC’s “Single Window” Export Support Center, the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the State Customs Committee, and the customs representation company “My Broker.” The event included an educational training session on export customs procedures and the project itself.

During the training, participants received information about the “Support for Export 2019” project, its benefits for local producers, and the provision of most export customs services free of charge to local manufacturers, including the preparation of export customs declarations throughout 2019. The session also covered educational training on completing customs declarations and the free services provided by “My Broker” for entrepreneurs who apply to the “Single Window” Export Support Center.

Nijat Haji-zade, manager of the “Single Window” Export Support Center, highlighted reforms led by President Ilham Aliyev aimed at facilitating and diversifying exports in Azerbaijan. He emphasized that the Center has played a significant role in the country’s export policy over the past year and noted that more than 10% of total non-oil exports were carried out with the support of the Center—a key indicator of its impact.

Rashad Aliyev, director of “My Broker” customs representation, stated that the training is of great importance for exporters and will stimulate their foreign trade activities.

Vusal Rustamov, head of the ASAN Communal and Functional Services Department, also spoke about the significance of the training and the projects implemented for exporters.

The event concluded with the screening of an educational video clip.
