The Regional Director of the Swiss Cooperation Office Visited CAERC
Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) Vusal Gasimli received Deputy Regional Director of Swiss Cooperation Office for the South Caucasus Alberto Hernandez.
The meeting focused on technical support of SECO to strengthen the capacity of the CAERC to build a financial programming model, as well as digital trade for the development of the private sector, digital enterprise management, and the development of women's entrepreneurship. Vusal Gasimli informed the guest about real-time planning of resources for small and medium-sized entrepreneurs in Azerbaijan. He also talked about CAERC projects – www.azerp.az, Azexport.az, EnterpriseAzerbaijan.com, One-Stop-Shop Export Support Center, and Digital Trade Hub working together as a single e0cosystem. At the same time, he noted that the application and widespread use of these platforms would facilitate the online implementation of cross-border trade and service operations in Azerbaijan and connect to the global network of ERP users.
Deputy Regional Director of SECO for the South Caucasus Alberto Hernandez told about the work implemented by SECO to develop and private and financial sectors in Azerbaijan.
Afterward, the Manager of the CAERC portal Azexport.az made a presentation about www.azerp.az portal created to support the planning of enterprises’ resources and working principle and functional modules of AzERP system. He also noted that the portal provides assistance to the entrepreneurs free of charge and creates opportunities for SMEs to save their expenses and time.
SECO Country Program Manager Aytan Akhundova and Head of the Projects Department of the CAERC Vusala Jafarova also participated in the meeting.
