“Reform Review” Dedicated to the Financial Sector Support Program
A special issue of the Reform Review prepared by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) is dedicated to comprehensive measures in financial markets aimed at mitigating the negative impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on the economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, macroeconomic stability, employment, and business entities.
According to CAERC financial analyst Ayaz Museyibov, the review reflects the program adopted by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan to support financial markets as part of anti-pandemic measures. The program covers regulatory holidays, consumer protection, acceleration of the transition to digitalization, enhancement of financial inclusion, promotion of online service channels, maintenance of financial discipline, and measures planned to support financial stability.
In the Reform Review, the measures planned for implementation across financial markets are presented in a detailed manner, structured by the banking sector, insurance markets, and capital markets.
