The next meeting of the Sub-Working Group on Inclusive Social Development and Social Security was held
According to the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev, the next meeting of the Sub-Working Group on Inclusive Social Development and Social Protection—established by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers for the preparation of the “Socio-Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027–2030”—has been held.
The head of the Working Group, Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev, emphasized that the dynamic socio-economic development of the country continues successfully, based on the "Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities for Socio-Economic Development" approved by the Presidential Decree.
It was noted that as a result of the implementation of the fifth social reform package this year, significant increases have been achieved in salaries, pensions, allowances, and other social payments.
It was also highlighted that the 2027–2030 Socio-Economic Development Strategy will serve the purpose of sustaining the achievements gained in various areas—such as labor, employment, social protection, rehabilitation, social services, and the development of an inclusive society.
During the meeting, Tarana Salifova, Advisor to the Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, and Elnur Alekberov, Deputy Head of the Economic Analysis Department, presented their proposals regarding the draft Action Plan for the Strategy.
The activities carried out by the Sub-Working Group and the forthcoming tasks were discussed.
