The CAERC Will Strengthen the Cooperation with the Swiss Cooperation Office
Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) Vusal Gasimli had an online meeting with Deputy Regional Director of Swiss Cooperation Office for South Caucasus (SECO) Alberto Hernandez. Executive Director of the CAERC Vusal Gasimli provided information on successful reforms implemented in the country, national priorities for socio-economic development in Azerbaijan up to 2030, the activity of the CAERC as a monitoring and evaluation institute. Vusal Gasimli also spoke about such CAERC projects as Azexport.az, EnterpriseAzerbaijan.com, Digital Trade Hub, Azranking.az, and One-Stop-Shop Export Support Center. During the meeting, V.Gasimli expressed appreciation for expert support provided by SECO and partnership in preparation of analysis and forecasting models developed for macroeconomic research in the CAERC.
Deputy Regional Director of SECO Alberto Hernandez told about activities realized by SECO for developing private and financial sectors in Azerbaijan. During the meeting, such strategic areas as macroeconomic analysis and forecasting model building, diversification, financial sector reforms were offered as a future sphere of the cooperation.
Head of the CAERC Project Department Vusala Jafarova and SECO Country Manager Aytan Akhundova also participated in the meeting.
