A representative of the CAERC participated in an international media seminar held in China

Zanura Talibova, Head of Department at the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), participated in an international seminar held in the city of Jinhua, People's Republic of China. The event was jointly organized by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and Zhejiang Normal University for media representatives from the member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

During the two-week seminar, participants from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and other countries became acquainted with the current state and development trends of the Chinese media. The sessions featured discussions on topics such as the formation of the new media environment, the creation of media brands in the film and television industries, the application of artificial intelligence, and the operational principles of media organizations in the context of digital solutions. Trends related to personal behavior models and the formation of national image in the era of new media were also discussed.

As part of the visit program, participants visited the China Center for Scientific and Technological Innovation and gained insight into the country’s technological advancements. Additionally, various cultural events and excursions were organized to showcase China’s historical and cultural heritage.

Azerbaijan was represented at the international seminar by a seven-member delegation from the press services of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency, the State Property Service, and the State Committee for Family, Women and Children’s Affairs.
