CAERC Employees Participate in Blood Donation Campaign

Employees of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication took part in a blood donation campaign organized by the Republican Blood Bank under the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan. As part of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation program “Towards a Life Without Thalassemia”, a group of the Center’s employees voluntarily donated blood.

Prior to donation, each donor underwent a medical examination conducted by hematologists from the Republican Blood Bank’s medical team, followed by blood testing. The collected blood reserves will be used in the treatment of patients suffering from thalassemia, hemophilia, and other blood disorders.

The organization of such a campaign, launched and implemented in stages within the framework of the “Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty”, will help save the lives of hundreds of patients and contribute to strengthening public solidarity and humanitarian values.

For nearly two decades, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s “Towards a Life Without Thalassemia” program has provided hope to thousands of people across the country and served as a tangible guarantee for the healthy growth of future generations. The program’s mission extends beyond the treatment of existing patients, encompassing key areas such as preventing the spread of the disease and ensuring a reliable supply of safe donor blood.
