Representative of the CAERC participated in an international seminar on green finance in China
Orkhan Sadigov, Head of the Monitoring and evaluation Department division the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), participated in the international seminar on green finance for partner countries of the “Belt and Road Initiative” held in China.
The training program encompassed enhancing professional skills in financial management, studying China’s experience in green finance, including its green tax system, green monetary policy, green fintech, and other related topics. The program also included presentations, practical sessions, and field visits.
Within the framework of the seminar, visits were organized to the cities of Xiamen in Fujian Province, and Huzhou and Putian in Zhejiang Province, aiming to study China’s experience in green finance and sustainable development.
Alongside CAERC, representatives from the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the State Customs Committee, the Ministry of Economy, Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, and the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport also represented the country at the international seminar.
