Representative of CAERC spoke at the presentation of the "Turkic Economies - 2023" report in Ankara

Ayhan Satıcı, the head of the Turkish World Research Center (TWRC) operating under the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), participated in the seminar titled "Increasing Digital Trade and Investment Potential in Turkic Economies." The seminar, organized by the Turkic Academy and the Secretariat of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), took place in Ankara, the capital of Turkey. The event focused on presenting the report "Turkic Economies - 2023: Digital Trade and Investment," collaboratively prepared by the participating institutions of the Official Economic Policy Research Centers Network (ERCNET).

It is noteworthy that Ayhan Satici, the head of TDAM, authored the chapters "Economic Development, Trade, and Investment," while Ismat Mehraliyeva, the head of the Digital Trade Hub, contributed to the chapter "Global Trends in the Digitalization of Trade and Investment" in the report. During the seminar, A. Satici engaged in a panel discussion, sharing the survey results conducted with investment promotion agencies in the Turkish world with the guests and participants.

The seminar commenced with speeches from Prof. Dr. Shahin Mustafayev, President of the Turkic Academy, Mustafa Tuzcu, Deputy Minister of Trade of the Republic of Turkey, and Kubanichbek Omuraliyev, the General Secretary of OTS.

The event brought together participating institutions of ERCNET, distinguished experts, politicians, and representatives from various sectors, including government officials, academics, and business leaders. The discussions centered on the challenges and opportunities within the digital trade and investment landscape of Turkish economies.

It is important to note that CAERC is one of the founding members of the ERCNET network.
