The Head of department at CAERC participated in the video conference on "UN Migration Network in Azerbaijan"
Vusala Jafarova, Head of the Projects Department of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, participated in a video conference on "UN Migration Network in Azerbaijan" with the joint cooperation of the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the United Nations.
Effective activity of the network, which contributes to further strengthening of cooperation in the field of migration, was discussed at the event. With the participation of international partners in Azerbaijan, information was provided on achievements in the direction of improving the welfare of migrants, promoting inclusivity, cooperation with international organizations and joint projects.
Vusal Huseynov, the Head of the State Migration Service, Vladanka Andreyeva, the resident coordinator of the UN in Azerbaijan, Vladimir Gyorgiev, the head of the UN Mission in Azerbaijan, Michael Newson, the UN's chief specialist, and Anna Prokhorova, an international expert and the head of the research group, spoke at the event and spoke about migration management and joint cooperation within the network. they shared their views on prospects for cooperation. At the meeting, presentations were made on other issues of mutual interest.
