A meeting was held between "Enterprise Azerbaijan" and EBRD
A meeting focused on cooperation between the "Enterprise Azerbaijan" portal and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) was held at the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
The meeting was attended by Matanat Musayeva, Head of the "Enterprise Azerbaijan" portal; Habil Ahmadov, Head of "Alma Consulting" and a resident of "Enterprise Azerbaijan"; Aydan Huseynzade, Project Manager; Samir Hamidov, General Manager for Small Businesses at the EBRD; and Linara Aliyeva, an EBRD analyst. During the meeting, participants discussed support for start-up projects and investment opportunities in Azerbaijan.
Matanat Musayeva provided an overview of the activities of "Enterprise Azerbaijan." Project Manager Aydan Huseynzade presented the "StartUp School 1" and "StartUp School 2" initiatives to the EBRD representatives. The parties also discussed the upcoming "StartUp School 3" project, with the EBRD employees offering several proposals for supporting the initiative.
Additionally, the guests presented information on the "Star Venture" program. It was noted that this program aims to support startups, accelerators, and consultants in realizing their potential. To date, "Star Venture" has provided assistance to over 550 high-potential companies across 23 countries, including regions such as the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean, the Western Balkans, Central Asia, Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Turkey.
The parties agreed to collaborate on new projects that will contribute to Azerbaijan's economy. They also discussed the possibility of holding regular meetings and increasing the exchange of expertise in the future. It was emphasized that such collaboration would foster the development of innovative solutions and promote economic growth in the region.
