Training sessions in the “Startup School 3” project of the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal have been successfully completed
As part of the “Startup School 3” project implemented by the Enterprise Azerbaijan portal, operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), the training sessions of the “Green and Digital Silk Road” international acceleration program have been successfully completed.
The objective of the sessions was to support the development of startup projects in line with market demands and investor expectations, enhance the knowledge and skills of participating teams, assist in transforming innovative ideas into viable business projects, and broaden access to global markets.
Within the framework of the program, a total of 20 training sessions covering 10 modules were conducted, amounting to 40 hours of training. The sessions were delivered by professionals engaged from leading innovation ecosystems across the globe, including the United States, China, Germany, Malta, Türkiye, Estonia, Russia, and others.
The training covered the following thematic areas:

Sustainability potentials of the green economy – development of ecologically sustainable business models and application of green technologies;

Digital transformation and business opportunities of artificial intelligence – integration of innovative technologies into business processes;

Fields and opportunities for the application of digital technologies – development of products and services using digital tools;

Business growth and development strategies – establishing strategies for sustainable development and market expansion;

Leadership and team management – fostering effective leadership and team dynamics;

Investor expectations from startup teams and global investment markets;

The role and importance of research in startup activities;

Intellectual property and legal regulations – strengthening the legal framework and protection of intellectual property;

Business development and sales strategies in startup activities – effective management of customer relations and partnership models;
-
Innovation and product development – transforming ideas into practical products and services.
A total of 126 startup teams from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Pakistan, Georgia, South Korea, and Kyrgyzstan participated in the training sessions. The sessions were conducted in an interactive format, providing startups with the opportunity to learn from and gain experience through real business case studies.
