Entrepreneurs’ Familiarization Tour Held at the “One-Stop” Export Support Center
A group of local and international companies operating in Azerbaijan participated in a familiarization tour to learn more about the activities of the “One-Stop” Export Support Center. The center is located at 16 Landau Street, near Cavid Park, Baku.
At the center, certification and registration under the Food Safety Agency are carried out. Currently, the following services are offered under the “one-stop” principle: registration in the food safety system and issuance of extracts from the state registry; issuance of duplicates; updating registry information; phytosanitary certificates; veterinary certificates; food safety certificates; issuance of confirmation code numbers.
In addition, the “One-Stop” Export Support Center provides services such as: certificates of origin, CITES certificates, cultural heritage protection certificates, approvals for exporting religious literature, and assistance with customs declaration preparation.
Representatives from well-known companies including PwC Azerbaijan, Ernst & Young, Deloitte, KPMG, and Ekvita visited the center and expressed strong interest in its activities. They highlighted that the system, designed to simplify and improve the efficiency of entrepreneurs’ work, will further stimulate the activities of exporters.
It is noted that the “One-Stop” Export Support Center was established under the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated February 22, 2017, on “Additional measures to strengthen the position of Azerbaijan as a Digital Trade Hub and expand foreign trade operations,” and operates within the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).
