“EL-Metal Ltd” Exports $220,000 Worth of Products via the “One-Window” Export Support Center
Azerbaijan’s “EL-Metal Ltd” company has exported 500 tons of rectangular steel billets to the Republic of Turkey, obtaining a certificate of origin through the “One-Window” Export Support Center. The total value of this export operation amounted to $220,000 USD.
Rafiq Imanov, a representative of the company, stated that the “One-Window” Center enables the collection of export documents in an efficient and timely manner. He added that “EL-Metal Ltd” plans to continue carrying out its export procedures through this Center in the future.
Nicat Hacızadə, manager of the Center, noted that the number of entrepreneurs applying to the Center is increasing daily. Over the past month, there has been significant demand for assistance in exporting agricultural and ferrous metallurgy products, and many applicants have also requested additional information. The Center has provided comprehensive support to these entrepreneurs.
The “One-Window” Export Support Center was established based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 23, 2017, titled “On Additional Measures to Strengthen the Position of the Republic of Azerbaijan as a Digital Trade Hub and Expand Foreign Trade Operations”. The Center issues international veterinary and phytosanitary certificates, quality certificates, certificates of origin, permits for exporting wild fauna and flora species, cultural heritage protection certificates, and approval documents for the export of religious literature.
The Center operates within the premises of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications (Landau Street 16, Baku, Azerbaijan, Tel: +994 12 521 28 48).
