International Trade Centre Publishes Article on Joint Project with Azexport Portal

The International Trade Centre (ITC), established by the United Nations (UN) and the World Trade Organization (WTO), has published an article on a joint initiative implemented in cooperation with the Azexport portal under the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).

The article highlights that during the COVID-19 pandemic, Azexport.az carried out continuous awareness-raising activities to help Azerbaijani entrepreneurs mitigate the impact of the crisis by making extensive use of opportunities created by e-commerce.

During this period, a total of seven online training sessions were organized, covering topics such as e-commerce and logistics, opening seller accounts on the Amazon platform, effective product presentation, and practical knowledge of electronic payments. It was emphasized that participants were satisfied with the training and found it highly effective in terms of practical application. More than 100 entrepreneurs took part in these sessions.

It is also noted that within the framework of the “Ready to Trade” project, ITC and Azexport continue to organize new trainings and seminars aimed at expanding entrepreneurs’ access to European markets.
